Rhapsody in Rhythm is a dazzling Song and Dance Fantasy showcasing the best music from the Gershwin Brothers and Cole Porter presented by Smash Productions. Their Outstanding Body of Work includes the soundtrack of the greatest songs, plays and movies of our life. The show includes standards performed by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Ethel Merman, Tony Bennett and Fred Astaire still played by today’s stars including Sheryl Crow, Elvis Costello, Lady Gaga, U2, Sting, Rod Stewart and Dina Krall.

We will bring you the best songs with a live band accompanied with stellar dancers and singers. You will be singing along during and after the program! Music includes selections from the groundbreaking Rhapsody in Blue, Kiss Me Kate with Too Darn Hot and Brush Up Your Shakespeare, Crazy for You, Porgy and Bess, Can Can and Anything Goes. Classic songs include Summertime, I Got Rhythm, Night and Day, Swanee, S’Wonderful, Of Thee I Sing, I’ve Got You Under My Skin and Someone to Watch Over Me.

This production showcases some of the best known Villages Entertainers and debuts some new voices including Bill Davis, Bill Krone, Bill McGaughey, Billie Thatcher, Bob Stehman, Bonnie Williams, Holly Jeske, Janet Maloney, Marilyn Duncan and Syd Tenembaum.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Your Humane Society SPCA and Toys for Tots.
