Dean Simmons, having followed the footsteps of his father, uncle, and grandfather in a life of performing country music was mesmerized and found himself loving and learning Garth’s music. After hearing how remarkably close he sounded on Garth’s songs, Dean set his sights on building an act to pay homage to this modern music icon.

Dean began his career as a Garth Brooks tribute artist in 1994. By ’96, Dean was discovered and hired to perform in the world-famous “Legends in Concert” in Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and Atlantic City, as well as several tours and one-night performances throughout the USA and Canada.

Spotlighted on the national television show, “World’s Greatest Tribute Bands,” Dean’s full-length show based on Garth’s live concerts, “Garth Guy,” has been wowing audiences ever since. Features all the songs you know and love, “The Thunder Rolls,” “Friends in Low Places,” “The Dance,” “Unanswered Prayers,” and “Shameless,” to name a few. 

Dean Simmons now celebrates 23 years of giving audiences across the country a live Garth Brooks experience, performed with respect and fantastic accuracy. His shows sincerely celebrate Garth Brooks – the man and his music.
