A Melodrama by Ira Levin

A picturesque Vermont town is peopled with good, healthy folks. At its head is Dr. Cook who has cared for them all. One of his flock temporarily returns as a new doctor ready to start her own practice but first visits her dear mentor, Dr. Cook. The afternoon goes from light to dark in discoveries that the younger doctor can’t accept and must challenge the older doctor to the brink of life and death. This brings about an unforgettable, suspense filled climax!

Our mission is to provide a quality theater experience for our patrons and the opportunity for Villages residents to learn about and participate in all aspects of play production. This mission is accomplished by producing three major plays with full sets built on the stage, a summer drama, at least three short plays (TwoBuck Tuesdays) that serve as learning workshops where the participants learn by doing and several summer workshops on acting, directing and other aspects of play production. We also have two traveling troupes that can be hired for entertainment for club meetings.
Our group is managed by a board of seven members and ten board assistants who are all volunteers. If you would like to know more about us or become a member, please see our website: www.tvtc.yolasite.com
