What Christmas Means to Me
Presented by The Villages Pops Chorus
The Villages Pops Chorus returns for its Annual Holiday Concert “What Christmas Means To Me” on Monday December 2 at North Lake Presbyterian Church. There will be two concerts, one at 3 PM and one at 6 PM. Tickets are $15 and are available through all Villages Box Office locations and online, and will be available at the door if not sold out. Proceeds from this concert will be donated to The Girl Scouts Alumnae Pajama and Book Drive, and the Sumter Youth Center.
The 140 voice Pops Chorus presents concerts that leave the audience smiling, singing, and feeling the spirit of the holiday season. Well-known for the variety of popular music they sing, the Pops Chorus show this year includes many upbeat pieces such as “What Christmas Means to Me”, the Frank Sinatra song “Mistletoe and Holly”, and a rousing Santa song, “Rockin’ Down the Chimney Tonight”. These songs are balanced with some of your favorite Holiday ballads like “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, “Merry Christmas Darling” and a beautiful arrangement of the song from A Charlie Brown Christmas, “Christmas Time is Here”. Backed by the 12-piece Pops Chorus Band, the Chorus promises fun, surprises, and some very beautiful music to start your Holiday Season.
