Graham Russell & Russell Hitchcock met on May 12, 1975, at rehearsals for "Jesus Christ Superstar" in Sydney, Australia; they became instant friends with their common love for The Beatles and, of course, singing. In 1980 "Lost in Love" became the fastest selling single in the world, leaping to the top of all of the charts and was named Song of the Year. Seven top-five singles later, Air Supply at that time had equaled The Beatles' run of consecutive top five singles. The albums Lost in Love, The One That You Love, Now & Forever, and The Greatest Hits sold in excess of 20 million copies. The trademark sound of Russell Hitchcock's soaring tenor voice and Graham Russell's simple yet majestic songs created a unique sound that would forever be known as Air Supply.

They won the equivalent of American Idol in 1979 with his own song “Happy Man.” It was his first number one hit, but they were always fighting the recession, dance halls closing up etc. so Cahal had two choices: go back teaching or emigrate, so Cahal emigrated. Mnozil Brass take their name from the "Gasthaus Mnozil," a restaurant across the street from the Vienna Conservatory, where, in 1992, seven young brass musicians met and began playing at a monthly open-mic. Since then, the group has embraced repertoire for all ages and stages of life: from folk to classical to jazz to pop; all executed with the same fearlessness, immense technical skill, and typical Viennese "schmäh" (almost impossible to find an English translation, but best rendered as a kind of sarcastic charm!).

In the 2015/16 season, the group returned to North America with their hit show Yes! Yes! Yes! Hailed as "seriously funny" and "whimsically brazen," the show blends original compositions with classical favorites, jazz standards, and popular hits. As always, the repertoire is presented with the group's iconic humour and wit in scenes so clever that they would be worthy of Monty Python.

For such a small country, the list of fantastic songs and songwriters to come out of Ireland is quite astonishing. From back to the time of Percy French and Thomas Moore to modern day legends like Van Morrison, Phil Coulter, and U2’s Bono, Ireland continues to churn out one fantastic song after another. Paul Byrom is the celebrated Irish tenor who initially capture millions of hearts of American theatre-goers and television viewers as an original lead vocalilst in the PBS hit show Celtic Thunder.   He is now bringing his own show, “The Great Irish Songbook”, to America’s shores.  This show is a tribute to the great songwriters to have come from Ireland, combining the songs Paul has grown up singing and listening to, with glorious stories of Ireland and his time growing up in Dublin and the Irish countryside. Singing classics like The Last Rose Of Summer, The Minstrel Boy and I’ll Take You Home Again Kathleen, and (of course) Danny Boy to modern hits like Have I Told You Lately That I Love You, You Raise Me Up, and Isle of Hope, Isle Of Tears, Paul has created a show for all ages. In what is sure (and begorra!) to be an evening to remember, you will leave with a glint in your eye thinking of your loved ones and longing for a trip to the Emerald Isle.

Bleed for your art.
Famed abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko asks his recently hired young assistant, Ken, the loaded question, "What do you see?" John Logan's visceral two-hander, Red, features artist Mark Rothko at the height of his career. Set in 1950s lower Manhattan, this biographical play illustrates Rothko struggle as he lands the biggest commission in the history of modern art, a series of murals for New York's famed Four Seasons Restaurant. When Ken begins to challenge Rothko, he faces the agonizing possibility that his crowning achievement could also become his undoing. This six time Tony Award winning play takes a compelling look at the ever-changing relationship between an artist and his creations.
