July 27 & 28 | 7pm
A Melodrama by Ira Levin and directed by Vanessa Osborne. A picturesque Vermont town is peopled with good, healthy folks. At its head is Dr. Cook who has cared for them all. One of his flock temporarily returns as a new doctor ready to start her own practice but first visits her dear mentor, Dr. Cook. The afternoon goes from light to dark in discoveries that the younger doctor can’t accept and must challenge the older doctor to the brink of life and death. This brings about an unforgettable, suspense filled climax!
The group is accompanied by Jo Ann Hanebrink and the 10-piece Pops Chorus Band, featuring some of the best musicians in The Villages. The concert will include a wide variety of well-known songs from the 40’s through the 80’s, including songs from Broadway, the movies, standards, jazz, rock and pop.
