Whether taking on relationships, his Italian American family, or current events, Joe DeVito’s dead-on timing, unexpected twists and sheer flights of lunacy make him a favorite at clubs and performing arts centers across the USA, and at the top venues in New York City.
After spending a decade as a journalist and advertising writer, Joe gave into his coworker’s demands to try performing so he could find fame, while they finally got some work done. Since then, he’s appeared on television more than 150 times, including Comedy Central, The Late Late Show (CBS), AXS-tv’s Gotham Comedy Live, Comics Unleashed, E! Network, CNN, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, and more. Joe was also a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing (NBC). In addition, he’s been a regular panelist on FOX News Channel’s Red Eye, Kennedy, and The Greg Gutfeld Show, discussing current events with a satirical bent. Additionally, his 2019 special for Dry Bar Comedy has over 7 million views online.
In 2006, Joe performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Canada, where the Montreal Gazette rated his performance “9.5 out of 10.”
Sheba Mason Opener for Joe Devito 06/19/26
Born into a theatrical family–Jackie Mason (comedian) and Ginger Reiter (playwright)– Sheba has been performing since the age of two as a stage prop in her mother’s play where she sat in her high chair and drank from her bottle. Eventually the bottle turned into a microphone, and Sheba has not left the stage since. She has appeared in Comedy Clubs and for Special Events throughout the country. Sheba performs nightly in comedy clubs in Manhattan spouting her unique witticisms, on everything from politics to Grandmas to being single in New York.
