DESCRIPTION

Classroom Apprenticeships:

  • Set an example by being a model learner
  • Assist with check-in/out and attendance procedures
  • Learn all lines, songs, blocking, and other elements of the class or camp
  • Help support the daily needs of the classroom (ex. clean up, gather materials, model choreography,
    etc.)
  • Encourage and be aware of the well-being of each student
  • Help refocus and guide students through activities, exercises, blocking, choreography, etc.
  • Assist teaching artists in monitoring students during snack time, lunch time, and bathroom breaks
  • Collect and gather supplies for teaching artists in the EDU Dept. (as needed)
  • Assist in distributing t-shirts for presentations (as needed)
  • Assist in the final presentation as a model for students to follow (as needed)
  • Manage and organize morning and after care supplies
  • Assist with other needs in the class/camp (as needed)
