Kick off the 2023 Mardi Gras Festival with the 2nd annual Mardi Paw March  pet walk and costume contest at Lake Sumter Landing on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. 
All contestants must be registered to participate in the walk.

Jammin Jambalaya (Main Stage)

Let the good times roll with the sounds of Jammin Jambalaya Band! The Jammin Jambalaya Band is Florida’s most versatile, prestigious, and sought after musical groups. ​Reliable, experienced, polished and professional, they’re the ​ultimate New Orleans inspired band. They perform your choice of  New Orleans Jazz including Zydeco band music, Dixieland band music, Second Line Brass Band tunes, Cajun, and Blues that is sure to get your party started.

Located throughout the streets of Lake Sumter Landing you will find several different street performers performing for your entertainment. You wont want to miss any of theses talented artists.

We Flip Circus: 4:00pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00pm 
Living Statues: 4:15pm – 7:45pm
Lucien Fuller (Juggler): 5:15pm, 6:30pm, 7:45 pm

THE VILLAGES SUNSHINE STROLLERS is a fun-time Instrumental organization known for its colorful attire and clownish antics. The band plays a variety of music with lots of “sing along” selections which are popular and guaranteed to get audiences on their feet.
